I dont fish the chicken a lot, but when I do, I know I've got a potential winning bag and I need a kicker or two to take home the derby. You can use it with FFS or not, its effective either way. Find the fish, drop it on their head and bang.
Best bait I've found for strolling. You can cast a bait out, let it fall on semi-slack line and then begin to work the bait whenever it reaches the desired depth. Because of this line tie the bait stays horizontal when twitching it on semi-slack line.
I was searching for something to protect my spinning rod, came across this one. Thought I’d give it a try and it fits perfectly on my 7’3” spinning rod. It’s not too snug or too loose, perfect fitting. Highly recommend.
